Thirsty to melt in the Oneness of The Beloved
I am a yoga teacher, an artist, a musician and a writer. I am inspired to uplift others through yoga and awareness, through empowering them - that they may find that strength within - to listen to their bodies, to calm the mind, and to follow the longing of their soul. News Feed |

Hi, so are you a Kundalini yogi? I was wondering about kundalini pratice. Are you teaching a class? You should write about it!
Welcome to the community
Hi Kumi,
Thanks for adding me, and for your note~~ Yes, I am a kundalini yogini, as taught by yogi bhajan, and I am also currently teaching.
(I love it!) I think I'll have to take on your suggestion and write about it more in detail soon on my blog here...! Do you have any questions in particular about ky that you would like me to address? ~~
Blessings,
Amrit
Hi Edawg,
Thanks for adding me too, and for your comment~* I hope this will help answer your question... I might add a post about it on my blog for further info later on... but for now:
Sikhism is a religion that started in the 16th Century in Northern India, by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The main precept of it is: there is only One Divinity who pervades everywhere, and who's name or identity is Truth. And that if we remember this simple thing, through meditation, bhakti and service unto others... the veil of duality and illusion can be overcome... so that all we see and hear and taste and touch and smell is only the many forms of the One, the Divine Manifestation. Then, what becomes of karma, and sufferance, and inequality, and duality - it all melts away... This is the door to becoming truly human - when you realize that the Other is You.
In short, It is a path to enlightenment, through the rememberance that all is One.

Thanks for the welcome, Segovia! Nice to meet you too~ It doesn't surprize me that you may know another Amrit - it's a common name, despite itself!
Blessings,
