Been a way from yoga for a couple of days now. I'm actually not doing yoga everyday like I use to. It's really weird but I feel like I'm losing my flexibility since I started this circuit training regime. I do a lot of stretching after the circuit training, but I don't feel as limber as I use too. It was especially noticeable when I was doing ballet the other day.
This particular program alternates between circuit and cardio, 6 days a week. So there's a specific program that you have to follow. So sometimes I find it a bit difficult to fit in some yoga after a hectic day and then an intense workout.
On a plus note, I did yoga today. Albeit it is still an intense training session. I believe it is about 1 hour of some very difficult poses (chair pose, 3 versions of warrior, etc). I admit, I'm not strong. I don't like staying in poses for long periods of time. I prefer more fluidity in movement rather than holding specific poses for more than 20 seconds. I found myself sweating a lot more doing yoga poses than I do in cardio workouts.
Weird.
