Apologies for no recent posts - been a crazy couple of months.  I completed my training and now have a very nice "Certified Yoga Teacher" certificate hanging on the wall of the bedroom at home.  I think I'm actually more proud of getting this particular piece of paper than I am of getting my college diploma!

As for actual teaching, well, let's just say I know now the answer to the old question: What if you gave a yoga class and nobody came?  Actually, that's only happened once as it took me almost a month before I was able to find a class to start teaching.  One of the local schools had a class that the teacher wanted to give up as a scheduling conflict had come up and it wasn't a very popular class.  In a move very much unlike me, I sent an e-mail asking the school owners if I could take over the class and they said yes!

So I am now an actualy yoga teacher with an actual class every Friday morning.  I've had one class where no one came, but also have had others with one or two people.  Everyone seems to leave class with positive comments and feelings, but I havn't yet gotten any regulars.  Hopefully as more and more kids get back to school, I'll have a few more folks coming in.

I'm also working with the head of another school to develop a beginners class strictly for men and also for a new weekday afternoon kids class.  My wife wants me to find an accountant and get started on figuring out how to do taxes and business planning.  I know I need to do this, but at this point I'm just getting started and really want to focus on the yoga for a while!
