Influenced by alignment principles, Astanga training, and Body-Mind Centering®, Elaine uses experiential anatomy to encourage students to move from within. By emphasizing breath, humor, embodiment and mindfulness, she helps students develop a compassionate and intimate relationship with their bodies as well as a committed yoga practice. Elaine is a Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist, and a Practitioner of Body-Mind Centering®. She assists her teacher, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, and teaches in the yoga training programs.
