Megan McDonough
I'm a yoga teacher, author, trainer, and marketing consultant. Yes, I know that's a strange combination! My work has a common purpose, though--to help people get clear so we can live a life of conscious creation.
I've written a couple of books, Infinity in a Box and A Minute for Me (available in 2010), taught and consulted at Kripalu Center, and I'm on the faculty of the Phoenix Rising Yoga Group Facilitator Training.

I bought another journal today that I didn’t need. My daughter says I have a fetish for journals – and she’s probably right. I have thin and fat, large and small, colorful and plain journals stuck in all sorts of places –... Read More

Teaching Yoga
I had no idea if teaching yoga to seniors would suit me. I thought I would be overwhelmed managing the physical limitations, or perhaps bored with a gentler practice. As it worked out, though, I absolutely love the two senior yoga... Read More

I’m sitting here this morning in my favorite writing chair—a mission-style recliner with wide wooden arms that have plenty of space for my coffee. Later I’ll add the cordless phone to the other armrest for my business calls.... Read More

What a Gift to have had you share your wisdom on Layers of Health! Thank you Megan for your insights, honesty, exercises & ability to go with our flow! You are a true mentor. Hugs, Nina
Nina, it was my pleasure to join your wonderful series! You are such a gracious host and I had great fun spending more than a moment with you. Looking forward to more opportunities for you and I to work together.
Congrats! You now have 100 friends. I think that makes you the most popular (or most well conneted / networked) person here at MYH (2nd to Sara of course - but she has a slight advantage). Kudos!
Welcome home! Hope you had a great vacation. Glad to be well-connected in this fun YogaHub space. I'm on my way up to PRYT to teach marketing this week, and I'll be sure to tell them about making connections in YogaHub
Hi Megan! I feel like I've got my big girl panties on right now. ha ha ha! I just created a blog on our profile page and have our home page stories from our website now streaming on there. And it took me, like, 15 seconds!! How cool is that! Thanks to all of you at Yogahub for dragging me into the new millennium. Whoo-hoo!
I'm loving this conference and think you're doing a superb job of hosting track 1! I've enjoyed the sessions and your interactions, I almost feel as if I'm sitting next to you experiencing them. And you do this all day long...I sure do appreciate how much you are giving of yourself to this whole experience and to us other YogaHub yogis. Thanks so much-- Mahalo nui!!!
What a wonderful comment, Chartoon! Thanks for that acknowledgement. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself and all the great workshops--so much to learn from all the great teachers
) Glad to hear you're having a great time too.
I will be attending the virtual yoga conference because it it the best way for me to continue my education and deepen my practice within the confines of a career in the equine world that does not allow for attendance in the traditional sense. I am fortunate to be working with a teacher on my YTT that can be adaptive and responsive to my schedule to help me achieve my goal to be able to help others on the transformational path of yoga. I'd love to be able to share this experience with a fellow student so we can experience the conference "separately, together".... Namaste' and Jai' Baghwan!

Thanks Claire! I love how you put it--that's the benefit of the virtual conference. I re-posted that comment in the blog section so it can be reviewed as we pick winners!
